Hm, it's somewhat lacking
This article (Tesla Coil), or a section of this article, is a stub and thus shorter than the author expected. Due to the method that everything is written for Paradox, pages can get forgotten, inspiration can be lost, and writers can get lazy. In any case, on this page more could be added later. |

Tactical Analysis[]
- Like a Christmas tree!: The iconic Tesla Coil has been an omnipresent part of the Soviet arsenal ever since its introduction in WWII. Little changed from its predecessors, it continues to serve as a tried and tested anti infantry and anti tank base defence, frying, electrocuting and zapping tanks, infantry and more into little bits of burnt enemy.
- Charge them up: The Tesla Coil works well with Tesla Troopers, who can charge it even further, boosting its power significantly. If there are sufficient Tesla Troopers, the Tesla Coil will continue to function even in the event that power is knocked out. This tactic also works with other units armed with Tesla weapons, such as the Stingray.
- Still got a bird problem: And like its WWII iteration, the Tesla Coil is vulnerable as ever to aircraft, and the same can be said for artillery as well, although Flak Cannons do help somewhat with the former.
Operational History[]
The Tesla Coil was invented by Nikola Tesla in 1891. Following the Russian revolution, the Soviets showed considerable interest in the Tesla Coil and began experiments with it so that it could be used as a weapon. Their efforts proved successful. With only a few insignificant casualties, the Tesla Coil was developed into a weapon capable of firing controlled arcs of lightning at its targets, and became one of the most feared and hated weapons of World War II.
While much of the Soviet technology and army has changed over the years, the mainstay of Soviet base defences is still the Tesla Coil. Although it is incapable of targeting aircraft it will can kill infantry and animals in a single shot, as well as heavily damage anything that manages to survive its first strike.
The Tesla Coil can be powered up by Tesla Troopers, increasing its range and damage capacity and keeping it online in times of low power.
