"Are you ready, Soldier brothers, For when that day comes? Don't worry homeland, Don't worry loved ones, In order to win I will bravely march on."
- "As the War Approaches", a popular song from before the bombs.
The Red Chinese, or Communist China, is a minor faction in the background of Red Alert 3 Paradox, and will be featured in a single mission during the Campaign. Their vehicles and infantry will be available by a variety of means on certain skirmish maps. They are heavily based on the Chinese in Command and Conquer Generals.
"The bombs have done nothing to diminish the Communist fighting spirit! Mao Zedong is still the glorious leader of our great revolution! The Red Army lives on in its people, and its people still live! Brother and sisters, remember your cause! Rejoin with the forces of Communism, and retake what is now your great nation!"
- Looped recording found broadcasting over an abandoned Communist Party propaganda centre.
Armed with a flamethrower and decently resilient armour, Pyro Guards are expected to clear the foe from hardened positions with bursts of flame and can also create waves of blinding smoke to obscure the enemy's line of sight. They are also responsible for punishing disloyal or cowardly troops and their presence increases the effectiveness of nearby infantry.
Bread and butter of the Red Chinese armoured divisions, Battlemasters have decent firepower, with their hull-mounted machine-gun and 76.2mm main gun. They can also fire anti-infantry canister shells, which produce effects not unlike that of an oversized shotgun.
A large APC with a top-mounted anti-air chaingun in a powered turret, the Gatling Crawler watches the skies for helicopters and aircraft while transporting up to 8 Red Chinese infantry.
The Dragon tank uses an unknown chemical formula to spew purple-tinted flame and oily smoke in a wide pattern. They are not suited to the sort of open-field warfare common in the Chinese Civil War, but were common in clean-up actions. Narrow or wide stream options are available.
A monster that rivals even the infamous Apocalypse tank, the Overlord's two 200mm guns can easily crush lesser tanks, as can its massive treads. Though ponderously slow, a harpoon can spear and reel units into range of the Overlord's guns.
The largest mobile artillery piece ever constructed, the Armageddon Cannon will shatter any structure or destroy massive numbers of enemy vehicles with a single blast, but it has to deploy into position before firing. The Blue Chinese were lucky less than two dozen of these vehicles ever rolled off the assembly line.
The Sea Hopper is the staple of the Red Chinese navy, a small retrofitted and hodgepodge vessel with some modified Battlemaster peices to make it into a somewhat decent harassment vessel. Able to lob delayed fuse shells at both ground and air targets it may not be tough but it is sure cheap to make.
The place where the surviving Communist Chinese gather materials, train infantry and assemble vehicles. Capturing it will enable the production of Red China's forces.
A dozen warcrimes in the form of a single building. Red China's primary resource production and harvesting building is powered and fueled by the suffering of sentient beings and fed the many corpses and wrecks that naturally come to life in wasteland.
Standing strong in all seats of Communist Chinese authority and the front lines are Propaganda Towers. Spewing out either the chants of the glorious communist revolution to Red Guardsmen or screaming static with an ECM field at the foes of Red China.
A small pen where the poor mutated mongrels of the few controlled Red Chinese cities are trained and kept in times of need to be unleashed on invading forces. Many of these dogs are trained to attack man through lethal half starved bites and tanks through the use of a modified warhead on their backs. And if overwhelmed the Kennel keeper can open all the cages at once, letting out all of the dogs in a last ditch defense, though afterwards the Kennel is defenseless as the keeper must round up any surviors and/or wait for a new batch, and any dogs that survive will go feral and kill anything that stands in their way, often needing to be put down by other soldiers.

North Korean Reinforcements[]
These forces can be called upon during Minor Faction Deathmatch. The North Koreans give the surviving PLA a properly trained force meant to fill the gaps the remaining Communist forces can't fill by providing both air support and elite specialist infantry. All units come into battle at heroic rank.
Wraiths are elite North Korean infiltration specialists who had considerable expertise in reconnaissance. Wielding a cyclotronic SMG in each hand, they can quickly assassinate infantry or inflict serious damage to structures. For added battlefield mobility, they can take flight using personal glider packs, but cannot attack in flight. They are stealthed unless firing, but wouldn't last long under fire.
Legendary graduates from the brutal North Korean special forces programs, DPRK Commandos are fanatical, fast, tough, and extremely skilled. They can wipe out whole squads of infantry with their scoped, silenced rifles, and throw sticky bombs capable of disabling enemy vehicles.
The fastest, sleekest and most effective second-generation jet fighter in service, the MiG-9's triangular profile and high speed allowed it to dominate the skies of Europe in WW2. This variant uses missiles capable of destroying air or ground targets with equal ease. And once out can activate its afterburners to return to a nearby airfield to repair and reload.
Based on a design scrapped by Russia, these Hinds are equipped with a Tesla Coil that fries infantry and vehicles alike, but charges up slowly and cannot hit aircrafts. They can also land, thanks to rugged landing gears, and deploy their 160mm howitzer, capable of ripping apart anything that comes into range.
This large helicopter serves as a multi-role attack platform similar to the Twinblade used by the Soviet Union. These aircraft carry the entire North Korean force to the battle, and stick around to support them with Gatling cannon fire.
Reinforcement Packages[]

Once a branch is chosen in the Hellpit the commander gets three additonal protocols, one at the start, a second at the middle, and a third at the end of the tech tree.
Insatiable God[]
Feast Of The Damned
Target an area of corpse/destroyed vehicles, all Red Chinese units will now heal themselves as they eat the corpses.

Mao's Missiles
Call in a squadron Mig Nines filled with a Jade dirty bomb, piloted by mad men, to crash into the enemy. Creating a large explosion followed by a dust cloud that poisons any survivors.
Industrial Horror[]
Reuse, Recycle
Target an area of corpse/destroyed vehicles, 25% of their cost is given to the commander as the Red Chinese turn the vehicles into scraps and the corpses into blood diamonds.
Work Til You Drop
Selects a group of units. Forcing them to work even harder, doubling their stats but causing them to take damage as they are overworked.
Mao's Rage
A Red Chinese "bomber" drops a mini "nuke" that vaporizes nearly anything it hits in a small area.
