"Look at your hab block, so fancy; state-of-the-art AURA projector, decade's worth of 'Slaught and an armory that can make any Legionnaire blush. It'd be a shame if someone were to take that all away while forcing you to watch."

- Legionnaire Gianluca Massolo to a Sprawl-dweller

Security remains a priority for the Sprawl-dwellers making a living. After all, what use is money, power and fame when rivals can steal away all your life savings, when your popularity only increases the crosshairs aimed directly at you, and when you're too busy being six feet under to project any sort of power?

Legion Security knows this well. Every alleyway, block and corner in a Syndicate company town has gangs, psychopaths, and assorted ill-intentioned individuals vying for drugs, lira and territory. A convenience storeowner has to defend themselves from pipe bombs and MAP-11 bullets, while single women avoid streets and entire communities where Satyrs hunt for their next victims. Sure, there is the occasional Legionnaire patrolling the Sprawl to dial down the chaos by a millimeter (even Sprawl Principates know that too much uncontrolled violence means an unlimited supply of competitors for the throne), but even then, they tend to have hefty price tags equal to a year's worth of salaries.

When Legion Security outside the Sprawls, they tend to advertise their services on television, and if it's available, the holovideo projector: 24/7, no-nonsense bodyguards offering total security or your money back. Civilians who sign up for the program tend to pay much of the local currency just to avail a week's worth of protection, in which Legion jacks up the price per succeeding weeks. Should they fail to pay up, they'll notice some of their belongings have vanished to thin air, and their cars reduced to scrap in which legionnaires blame on whatever army the Syndicate's fighting on that particular city.
