Hm, it's somewhat lacking
This article (PAWI Truck), or a section of this article, is a stub and thus shorter than the author expected. Due to the method that everything is written for Paradox, pages can get forgotten, inspiration can be lost, and writers can get lazy. In any case, on this page more could be added later. |

"There is no tank."
- - PAWI Truck driver
Tactical Analysis[]
- Cream of the crop: The PAWI Truck is an extremely highly prized vehicle among Confederate troops. It is THE vehicle which puts the ambush in the Confederate Revolutionaries. This vehicle has a near infinite amount of uses in which a wise commander can exploit.
- What army?: The PAWI Truck is equipped with a PAWI array that generates a PAWI field. The PAWI field is capable of cloaking all ground friendlies (except for maybe the Assault Striker) in a sizable radius, leaving absolutely no trace. The PAWI Truck is also capable of projecting holograms of friendly units, prompting enemies to go on a wild goose chase as your real army moves into flanking position.
- Zero insurance premium: The PAWI Truck is usually the highest priority target for the enemy and the enemy will actively seek out PAWI trucks and destroy them. If a scout detects it, the enemy is sure to throw everything he has at it.
- No unauthorized modifications: The PAWI generator is a complex and temperamental machine, and cannot really be modified without undoing the whole ruse.
History[]
The GAP Truck was one of the marvels of 1950s science. Created by Bayerische Motoren Werke, these trucks carried what would later be considered by military historians one of the reasons why the Allies managed to triumph against the Soviets. The GAP generator was created by Lawrence Atwood and several of his colleagues shortly after World War II broke out. The generator itself was a peculiar device that allowed Allied vehicles to hide in near plain sight around the truck, but produced a bubble-like effect in the area and suffered from a small radius
Unfortunately for the GAP trucks, they were very fragile, meaning that losses among GAP Trucks were very high. Most of these didn't even come from combat, but from the generator and the truck's battery overheating. Broken trucks are quickly sent to the Boneyard, as (due to budget cuts) the trucks became too complicated and time consuming to repair. These vehicles met a new life when the Confederates raided the Boneyard facility, and were given revised "PAWI" Generators that were superior to GAP generators (and in many rebel minds, Allied Mirage technology) by their creator. The Allies are constantly looking for these trucks for capture in order to use them in their own military, but every time they get a lead, the PAWI Truck just isn't there.
