"TAKE AND HOLD"

Background[]

Being the core of the Allied war machine, the Reservists need flexibility when it comes to combating hostile forces. Drawing upon the many member nation's military philosophies, Allied command has assembled 3 major "Doctrines" for the Reservists to use in field operations to maximize their ability to survive and complete their missions.

Doctrines give associated perks that act as free upgrades so long as the doctrine is active. Doctrines can be improved via the "Clearance" level to make the associated perks better. There are five clearance levels, the first, all perks are weak and the fifth all perks are at maximum potential.

Changing doctrines is free but has a cooldown as troop equipment, modifications, and new supplies take time to change out. During this time orders can't be given, so it's not recommended to switch doctrines while in combat.

Doctrines[]

Deep Strike (Ranged Firepower)[]

Bombardment Increase damage by 10%
Breach And Clear All infantry gain Fearless tag and 25% more suppression
Drive Them Back Retrievers and Mastiffs cost and build time decreased by 20%
Air Raid Decrease the cost and cooldown of Black Eagle Squadron and Flaming Carpet Reinforcements by 50%
Unstoppable Force Damage and ROF are doubled

Take and Hold (Defensive Entrenchment)[]

Hold The Line Increase health by 10%
Fortify Infantry gains a 25% boost to range and ROF when garrisoned
Artillery Suppression Pershing Howitzer and Steelrain Artillery gain a 25% boost to range and suppression
Bunker Down All buildings and occupied structures health increased 25%
Immoveable Object Health is doubled, armor is improved, and all units gain regenerator

Surgical Assault (Fast Strikes)[]

Search And Destroy Increase range by 10%
Air Mobility Cardinal Slick and Condor Lift Transport gains a 50% boost to speed and gain stealth
Spec Ops All units are now stealthed when stationary
Scouting Party Decrease cost and cooldown of Recon Team by 25%. Infantry gains a 25% increase to range and Recon Peacekeeper and Leopard gain a 50% increase to speed, range and can detect stealth units
Decapitation Strike Speed and range are doubled, and all units can detect stealth units

Behind the Scenes[]

A reference to the US Generals system that adds buffs with obvious analogies. Deep Strike (Bombardment), Take and Hold (Hold the Line) and Surgical Assault (Search and Destroy)
