Background[]
The most basic field fortification available to Crusaders is little more than a pair of heavy flamethrowers housed in a rotating turret and mounted on a tracked chassis that can settle down and deploy into a stationary defensive structure. Flame Turrets can be deployed from any Crawler cell as soon as they hit the field, and as such are usually one of the first fortifications deployed in a combat zone.
Once deployed, Flame Turrets are eminently simple in their functionality: enemy units get close, the turret's pilot/gunner sets them on fire, with infantry targets finding this far more distressing than vehicles for obvious reasons. Naturally, the Flame Turret has rather limited range compared to most other armies' basic defences, but inflicts greater damage and can clear out garrisoned buildings.
