Operational History[]
With the capture of the IJN Kumogakure during the Battle of Aomori, the Soviets were able to reverse engineer a small portion of the battleship's technology, and by the end of the war they had managed to create a practical miniature Tesla reactor. Along with learning how to scale down other machines as well, it was decided that the Terror Drone and all the variations that were currently in their final testing stages should be built from their own structure.
The Drone Kennel, as it is called, is a miniaturized assembly line and factory the size of an Imperial Wave-Force Tower, controlled by a single scientist or engineer picked for both technical knowledge and loyalty. They enjoy lavish accommodations in the Kennel's control booth/apartment. In addition, there is a big red button in the control room that when activated destroys every drone built by that Kennel. This feature was added at the last minute, and so far the reason has been classified as a State Secret.
Finally, it should be noted that the building was designed by the Kazminov Design Bureau. However, the Ministry of Experimental Science, who complained that they were the ones who originally designed the Terror Drone, and that it should have been them manufacturing it, protested that it wasn't fair that KDB should get to manufacture an entire line of drones based on their original Terror Drone. In order to get them to shut up, as one Soviet officer put it, the Drone Kennel and at least half the production of all new drones would be carried out by the Ministry of Experimental Science.

Behind the Scenes[]
Like several other units in Paradox, the "Kennel" is a throwback to Red Alert 1. Only instead of training dogs, it's a designated factory for making - naturally - Terror Drones, and their offshoots.
